Southern First Bank Hires Mortgage Executives

COLUMBIA, SC – Southern First Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFST), holding company for Southern First Bank, announces the hiring of Mr. Chris Austin and Mr. Carter Weston as Mortgage Executives.

Chris Austin joins Southern First Bank as Mortgage Executive and brings over 15 years of mortgage lending experience including Eagle Mortgage Group, Countrywide Home Loans, Nationwide Mortgage Services, LLC, and Certus Bank. Austin comes to Southern First Bank from Supreme Lending where he served as Branch Manager. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. Degree in Business.

Carter Weston also joins Southern First Bank as Mortgage Executive. Most recently, Weston served as Sales Manager at Supreme Lending. He brings over 16 years of experience from Community Bankshares, Inc., Regions Bank, and Certus Bank. Weston is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. Degree in Marketing and Management.
