Spartanburg Water announces promotion in Wastewater Treatment – Maintenance Department

Spartanburg Water announced the promotion of John Harris to the position of Wastewater Treatment Maintenance Coordinator for the Wastewater Treatment Division of the organization.  In his new role, John will supervise, plan and coordinate the maintenance activities of Spartanburg Water’s Wastewater Treatment related facilities.

Mr. Harris joined Spartanburg Water in August, 2017 when he was hired as a Maintenance Technician II in the Wastewater Treatment Maintenance Department.  Mr. Harris holds an Associates in Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force, Welding Certificate from Spartanburg Community College and a South Carolina Backflow Tester Certification. Mr. Harris has over 2 years of experience with public utilities.
