Special Election for Open Seat on Laurens County School District 55 Board

The Laurens County Voter Registration & Elections office has given notice that a non-partisan special election for Laurens County School District 55 will be held at Precincts fixed by law on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
The seat to be voted on is Trustee Seat 7 which was vacated when James “Bubba” Rawl resigned to take a new position with the South Carolina Department of Education. Click HERE for the full story about his new position.
Filing for the open seat will take place at the Laurens County Registration & Elections office, 105 Bolt Dr., Laurens, SC and will open from NOON, Friday, April 28, through NOON, Monday, May 8, 2023.
