Spice up your home library at Winter Book Sale

December 30, 2019

It’s a chance to get your hands on some great deals and rare finds while adding to your book, music and movie collections. The Richland Library Friends and Foundation is preparing to host the 2020 Winter Book Sale.

There are two opportunities to peruse more than 45,000 gently-used books, CDs and DVDs at the Richland Library Operations Center (130 Lancewood Road).

A private sale is scheduled from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020. A minimum, yearly donation of $25 to the Richland Library Friends and Foundation is required to attend. Donations can be made online or at the door.

A public sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Prices for paperbacks start at $1, and prices for hardbacks start at $2. Materials are available in all genres for adults, teens and children.

The Richland Library Friends and Foundation plans to host three book sales this year – winter, summer and fall. On average, these events raise more than $70,000 annually to support the library.

Please note, because the Richland Library Operations Center is undergoing construction from February to May 2020 for maintenance and improvements, a spring book sale is not taking place.
