COLUMBIA, SC – Spirit Communications, the Southeast’s premiere provider of digital fiber optic networks in the Carolinas, has earned the coverage expansion contract from one of the nation’s largest wireless carriers.

After being awarded the major dark fiber contract for the South Carolina sites in 2015, this additional victory attests to the progressive partnership developed.  With construction to the North Carolina sites projected to be completed by 3rd quarter of 2018, Spirit will build fiber to over 215 towers to expand the wireless carrier’s coverage in Charlotte, Winston Salem, Greensboro, Durham, and Raleigh, North Carolina.
