Spooktacular Halloween fun for kids coming to Georgetown Main Library

The Georgetown County Library is gearing up for Halloween with two back-to-back family programs scheduled for next week at the Georgetown Main Library. Both events offer free festive activities for children and teens to celebrate the holiday season.

Kick off the Halloween festivities on Thursday with a craft drop-in program from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm! Children can get creative with Halloween crafts, enjoy popcorn, and even catch a movie screening of Hocus Pocus, starting at 2:30 pm, during the event. The fun takes place in the Children’s Department of the main branch (405 Cleland Street).

Then on Friday, the magic continues with “Wizards Academy,” a live Halloween performance featuring Dana Hill. Families are invited to bring young wizards and magic enthusiasts to experience this festive presentation, which begins at 3:00 pm the library’s auditorium.
