St. James Health and Wellness announces 3rd Annual “Taste of Compassion” Brunch to benefit local food pharmacy

St. James Health and Wellness is proud to announce the return of its premier community event, the 3rd Annual Taste of Compassion Brunch. Scheduled for the morning of August 8, 2026, at the scenic Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club, this year’s gathering centers on the impactful theme: “Feeding One Family at a Time.” 
The Taste of Compassion Brunch is more than a meal; it is a mission-driven experience designed to celebrate wellness, foster community connection, and provide critical support for local families. This year, all proceeds will directly benefit the St. James Food Pharmacy, a vital initiative that provides nutritious food and hope to neighbors in need. Dana Mitchel, RD, LD, Director of Community and Health Nutrition for St. James, will be the keynote speaker.
Guests will enjoy a variety of flavorful dishes prepared by local chefs, and WCBD News 2’s Dalilah James will be a special guest as well for the event. Every ticket purchased strengthens the ability of St. James Health to serve the community’s most vulnerable members.
