May 3, 2017

Stacey Bevill, owner of Spartanburg-based Ask and Receive, Inc., a full-service marketing firm, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Mental Fitness, Inc. (MFI), a national nonprofit that brings arts-focused, evidence based programs into schools to build resilience in youth.

Mental Fitness was founded more than 10 years ago by Spartanburg businesswoman Robyn Hussa Farrell — an award-winning producer, educator and author — to raise awareness of debilitating mental health issues affecting one in four schoolchildren in America.

As a member of the Mental Fitness board, Bevill brings expertise in leadership, marketing and social media strategy, business consulting, website design and development, and search engine optimization (SEO). Through Ask and Receive, Bevill has been serving clients in the Upstate and beyond for nearly 18 years.

Bevill has a master’s level certification in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University; Fran Tarkenton’s master’s level certification in Entrepreneurship from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia; and a bachelor’s degree from Lander University. She is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina, Leadership Spartanburg, the Women’s Campaign School at Yale, and The Spartanburg County Foundation’s Grass Roots Leadership Development Institute.
