Stacey O’Neal joins GMK’s construction services division

GMK Associates, Inc., announced today that Ms. Stacey O’Neal has joined GMK’s construction services division as a construction project manager. Ms. O’Neal has 28 years of construction industry experience spanning the pre-engineered metal building manufacturing system through the large-scale general commercial construction contracting market sectors.

“Stacey has already quickly proven to be a valuable asset to the firm in overseeing major capital improvement projects under GMK’s CM-Agent contracts,” said Barry Morgan, director of GMK’s construction services division. “And she adds further depth and expertise to our construction administration team in support of large construction efforts within GMK’s design divisions.

Ms. O’Neal’s relevant skills include successfully managing construction efforts ranging from $800,000 up to $90 million across the education, retail, industrial, commercial, and disaster recovery areas. Her core competencies include complex project coordination/administration, contract/subcontract negotiations, budget/quote estimates, client relations, vendor/supplier negotiations and oversight, schedule management, change order management, and construction site safety and quality control. After attending Francis Marion University, Ms. O’Neal began her career in production control for a manufacturer of pre-engineered structures and progressed to senior-level project management roles for multiple major general contractors in the Southeast.
