Stantec expands Program Management and Environmental teams in South Carolina

Stantec, a leading global design and engineering firm, has welcomed two professionals to its Project Management and Environmental practices in Charleston.

Gopi OmRaju has joined Stantec’s Charleston office as a Senior Project Director in its Program Management practice. He brings more than 25 years of experience in Facilities Operations, energy management, and construction project management with a specialization in the Health Care arena. He has overseen large and complex healthcare projects in the East Coast and the Low Country area. Gopi is a Mount Pleasant resident and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College.

Katie Abare has also joined the Charleston office as an Environmental Scientist. She recently graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Katie will work with Stantec’s regulatory/resource, local government, and private clients on technical studies and ecological resource assessments. She brings focused skills and abilities to assist in wetland delineations, water sampling, habitat assessments, rare species and wildlife investigations, and other natural resource surveys.
