State coaches induct Simmons into Hall of Fame

November 16, 2020

For 30 years, Clovis Simmons has coached tennis at Clinton High School, and not just one team but the girls in fall and the boys in the spring.
She’s won multiple Upstate championships with both teams and one state title with the boys’ team in 2000. Her teams have won over 400 girls matches, and the boys should reach that number in the spring.

On Saturday evening in Greenville, Simmons was one of five inductees in the S.C. Athletic Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame.
