Steinberg Law Firm invites scholarship applications

February 2, 2021

The Steinberg Law Firm announced the 2021 Steinberg Law Firm Scholarship. Graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year higher-learning institution are encouraged to submit their entries.

Five seniors will be chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship. Submissions open on Monday, February 1, 2021. The deadline to submit an entry is on Monday, April 5, 2021. Students must submit all materials online at www.steinberglawfirm.com/2020Scholarship

The law firm will pick winners based on their essay entry and their community involvement, special honors and awards, and school activities. This year, students are asked to submit a 700-word essay answering the question:
“Should the Electoral College be Abolished?” and defend their stance in favor or against its abolition.

The Steinberg Law Firm will announce the scholarship recipients at each school’s year-end award ceremonies. If the school does not have a year-end award ceremony, the winners will also be notified by Monday, May 3.

Applicants must submit the following materials with their 2021 application form:

• Current high school transcript
• List of school activities, community involvement, special awards, and honors
• The 700-word essay explaining why you believe the Electoral College should or should not be abolished, and defend your stance.

Each of the five winners of the Steinberg 2021 Scholarship will use the scholarship money to advance their planned college studies. Students choosing to pursue any field of higher education are encouraged to apply.

“Students in our community who work hard deserve the support of our business and legal community,” said David T. Pearlman, a partner at Steinberg Law Firm. “We are proud to continue a tradition of supporting higher education and look forward to honoring members of the Class of 2021 this Spring.”
