Stinson Ferguson appointed to the City of Greenville’s Green Ribbon Advisory Committee

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd announced that Stinson Ferguson has been appointed by Greenville City Council to serve on the Green Ribbon Advisory Committee. Her two-year term began on October 1, 2020.

As a member of the Green Ribbon Advisory Committee, Stinson, along with fellow committee members, will advise City Council on ways to develop and improve sustainability throughout Greenville.

Passionate about public service, Stinson also currently serves on the Creating a Safer Upstate Discovery Committee for Ten at The Top and the Allocations Committee for the United Way of the Piedmont. She is a past board member of Opportunity Greenville, Warehouse Theatre, Greenville Housing Authority and Rotary Club of Greenville, to name a few.

Stinson practices in the areas of environmental law and construction and utility litigation. Her environmental practice includes permitting disputes and enforcement, real estate transactions, solar legislation and development, brownfield redevelopment, landfills, underground storage tanks, unregulated chemicals and water quality standards.
