Straight Street of Laurens to Hold Sign Dedication

Straight Street of Laurens recently reopened its doors under the leadership of Van Tumblin as Executive Director.

This weekend they will  their new digital sign in memory of King and Augusta Dixon. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to come out and show their support. King Dixon’s sons will be in attendance for the dedication.

“We look forward to welcoming members of the community for the sign dedication in memory of King and Augusta Dixon. With continued community support, we will be able to provide a safe, loving environment for the teens of Laurens for years to come. With the number of teens that have come to center since reopening, there is a definite need for Straight Street and we need as much community support and involvement as possible.”
