Studio 2LR Announces Robyn Fisher is a Registered Architect

COLUMBIA, SC – December 5, 2012 – Studio 2LR, an architecture and interior design firm with an emphasis on sustainable contemporary design located in Columbia’s Vista, announce Robyn Fisher, AIA has successfully passed the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) and is now a registered architect in South Carolina.  The ARE is a series of seven exams developed and administered by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and assesses candidates for their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide the various services required in the practice of architecture.  The ARE has been adopted as the registration examination required of all candidates for architectural registration throughout the United States and Canada.

Ms. Fisher is a native of Columbia.  Fisher graduated from Clemson University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Fine Arts and in 2010 graduated with a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University. Robyn studied at the Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genoa, Italy in 2004 and NC State’s College of Design’s Prague Institute in 2009.   Ms. Fisher currently serves as secretary on the board for the AIA’s Greater Columbia Section.   She also obtained her LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) Green Associate designation in 2009.
