Studio 2LR, Inc. Architects and Planners Hire Michael Ward

COLUMBIA, SC –  June 26, 2008 — Studio 2LR is pleased to announce that Michael Ward, Associate AIA, has joined the studio. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. Ward graduated from Clemson University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Design, and in 2008 with a Master of Architecture with emphases in Digital Fabrication and Historic Preservation.

Mr. Ward studied at the Charles E Daniel Center in Genova, Italy in 2007, where his work was exhibited at the Salone Satellite in Milan. He was a finalist in AIA Dallas’ 2006 (KRob) Architectural Delineation Competition. He received the St Petersburg Award for Excellence in Graduate Design, which provided for a travelling fellowship to Russia and exchange with the Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnical University.

Michael has joined Studio 2LR after working in Greenville and Myrtle Beach. His experience includes Greenville High School, Crescent Bank, and the Barefoot Resort Fire Station in North Myrtle Beach. Additionally, he assisted with the LEED documentation of Furman University’s James B. Duke Library, which has achieved Gold Certification.
