Summer meals program provides free meals

Richland School District Two Food Services, operated by Sodexo, will again serve free, nutritious meals on weekdays this summer. Students up to age 18 can enjoy a variety of healthy breakfasts and lunches that meet and exceed nutritional standards set by the United States Department of Agriculture and the National School Lunch Program.
Meals will be provided to all children 18 years old and younger without charge at 17 sites in northeast Richland County. Last summer, the district and Sodexo served nearly 50,000 meals between June and August. For the second year, Sodexo’s food truck “Street Eats” will assist in serving meals at several locations each week.
