Sunbelt Business Brokers announces the sale of The Aristocrat in Columbia, South Carolina to Brent Daulton and his mother Judy Daulton. The Aristocrat, a cocktail bar, restaurant and music venue, is located in Columbia’s Vista in a historic building at 1001 Washington Street.
The new owners bring professional experience in accounting, business, and operations management, and own a retail store in Clinton, SC. Since purchasing The Aristocrat on Feb. 1, the Daultons have added new food and drink options to the menu, hosted several live performers and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their plan for the business includes a revamped focus on live entertainment and expanding menu options beyond the typical offerings found in a local bar.
“The acquisition of The Aristocrat puts us in a position of working with the public which we enjoy,” said Brent. “As new owners, we hope to bring each of our customers the best vibe, entertainment, food and hospitality available in downtown Columbia.”
