Supporting Youth and Families: Just Say Something Set for Ribbon Cutting and Business After Hours
July 13, 2026Local business leaders and community advocates will gather next month to celebrate the ongoing impact of a prominent Upstate non-profit.
The Greater Mauldin Chamber of Commerce announced it will host a special joint Ribbon Cutting and Business After Hours event in partnership with Just Say Something, a long-standing organization dedicated to youth development and substance misuse prevention. The community celebration is scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
The evening mixer is designed to bring local professionals together to network, celebrate, and explicitly recognize the critical work the non-profit performs across the region.
A Mission Rooted in Conversation
For over 40 years, Just Say Something (formerly known as the Greenville Family Partnership) has operated with a clear, foundational goal: helping youth, parents, and community leaders navigate honest, ongoing conversations about risky behaviors, drugs, and alcohol.
By providing evidence-based parenting courses, youth sports initiatives, and targeted school prevention programs, the organization works to remove traditional barriers that keep families from addressing difficult topics. Their localized approach seeks to strengthen parent-child bonding, improve life skills, and equip young people to make healthier choices that steer them away from underage substance use.
The Chamber’s Business After Hours event will showcase how these localized community programs strengthen the foundational health and economic well-being of families across the Golden Strip.
Event Registration Details
The upcoming evening event offers an open door for Mauldin Chamber members, area business operators, and residents to connect directly with the organization’s leadership team and learn about local volunteer or partnership opportunities.
