Swamp Fox Players present Christmas classic “It’s a Wonderful Life”
November 2, 2026
The Swamp Fox Players are celebrating 50 years of entertainment with a stage adaptation of the holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, directed by Ellen Hart McKinstrie.
It’s a Wonderful Life brings the story of George Bailey, an Everyman from Bedford Falls whose personal dreams yield to family obligation and civic duty, to the local stage. Saved from despair on Christmas Eve by his guardian angel, Clarence, George is given the chance to see what the world would look like had he never been born—discovering the deep impact of a life built on community and sacrifice. The production features classic characters including George and Mary Hatch, Clarence, Uncle Billy, Violet, and the evil Mr. Potter.
