Sweet & Savory to be held April 28

Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter is pleased to announce that the Sweet & Savory fundraiser will be from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the South Carolina State Museum Planetarium Lobby. During the event, local chefs will compete for best savory hors d’oeuvres and best sweet treats.

Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter is a safe haven for abused and neglected children and homeless teens throughout the state of South Carolina. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children have access to after-school programs, tutoring, recreational and social activities. We offer a broad range of services that concentrate on personal healing and development including medical attention, mental health care, crisis adjustment and transitional counseling. We help children succeed; their grades improve and their behaviors stabilize. Here, the state’s most desperate children are home.
