SWU Cuts Ribbon at New Columbia Location

COLUMBIA, SC – September 23, 2008 – Southern Wesleyan University celebrated its move to the northeast area of Columbia with a dedication, ribbon-cutting and open house on Sept. 21. The university’s Columbia Learning Center is located in Pinnacle Point Business Park, adjacent to I-77 and just off Farrow Road.

Southern Wesleyan University now occupies more than 16,000 square feet of space in the building. It moved to its new location from Charleston Highway in Cayce, where it has been located for the past 18 years.

Southern Wesleyan University’s main campus is in Central, S.C., and classes are offered in Columbia, Greenville, Greenwood, Spartanburg, North Augusta and Charleston. The university was founded more than 100 years ago by leaders who promised to “help men and women become what God has designed them to be.”
