Sylvan Learning Center announces March’s Teacher of the Month

March 19, 2020

Bonnie Walker has been named the Sylvan Learning Center of Greenville Teacher of the Month.

A graduate of Lake Erie College, Walker began working at the Sylvan Learning Center in Greenville in October 2019 with a focus on Early Literacy and Early Elementary school reading programs.

“Bonnie has excelled in her work with our youngest readers. They are excited to work with and they are making wonderful progress,” said Wendy Green, Center Director for Sylvan Learning Center of Greenville. “She has built relationships with other teachers and has quickly become an important part of our team.”

Walker is currently working with others to write a book on the history of her hometown of Concord, Ohio. She is also a crafter, particularly paper crafting, and she used to work with a one-room school house museum in Ohio doing events and displays that involved paper crafting.
