Sylvan Learning Center hosting free webinars on importance of testing in college applications

January 18, 2022

Sylvan Learning Center and Bright Horizons College Coach will be hosting two free webinars discussing the importance of standardized testing as it relates to the changes in the college application and admissions process.

The webinars will take place on Thursday, January 20 at 7 pm and Thursday, February 24 at 7 pm. Geared towards high schoolers, these webinars provide the opportunity to learn more about how and why students should prepare for the ACT and SAT, why they should take each test at least once, the role of test scores for scholarships and more.

In addition, Bright Horizons College Coach and Sylvan Learning Center have partnered to form the College Application Action Plan, which attendees can learn more about at the webinar.

“We are excited to be hosting these webinars on standardized testing and the college application process,” said Amy Garnder, franchise owner of Sylvan Learning Centers in the Upstate. “Both the testing and application processes can be confusing and stressful, and we cannot be more thrilled to partner with Bright Horizons College Coach to make this time less difficult for students and parents alike.”

You can register for the webinar on January 20 here, and the February 24 webinar here. More information on the event can be found on the registration page.
