Sylvan Learning Upstate wants to know your favorite teachers

August 19, 2019

In the midst of back to school preparations, Sylvan Learning Upstate wants to know who your favorite teachers are, and maybe they can win $500 in classroom prizes for being so awesome.

From August 16 to September 15, parents can log on to Sylvan Nation (www.sylvannation.com) to nominate their child’s most loved classroom teacher; a teacher that inspired them to set challenging goals, work hard and be the absolute best version of themselves.

With centers in Anderson, Greenville and Spartanburg, Sylvan Learning is taking part in this national event because of great demands on teachers at this time of year. According to a study by the National Center of Education, 94 percent of public school teachers report paying out of pocket for school supplies and spending nearly $480 a year.

“Teachers sacrifice so much time, money and energy to make a difference in the lives of the younger generations,” said Amy Gardner, franchise owner of Sylvan Learning Upstate. “This sweepstakes is a fantastic way to equip them to continue their impact while also showing our appreciation.”
