SYNNEX Share the Magic to celebrate 10 years of helping Upstate children’s charities

SYNNEX Share the Magic, the charitable fundraising initiative created in 2011 by Peter Larocque, President of North American Technology Solutions for SYNNEX Corporation, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a Virtual Gala and Auction on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Proceeds from the virtual event will benefit four Upstate children’s charities – A Child’s Haven, Clement’s Kindness, Make-A-Wish South Carolina and Pendleton Place. Since its inception in 2011, SYNNEX Share the Magic has raised more than $12.3 million.
“SYNNEX Corporation is proud of how our associates and business partners, along with local organizations and individuals, have united in the spirit of charitable giving to make this year’s virtual event and auction possible during this challenging time,” said Larocque. “Their hard work, creativity and generosity will have a lasting impact on the four beneficiaries for years to come.”
The auction will include various local and regional experiences, exclusive trips, autographed sports memorabilia, the latest electronics, artwork and much more. The auction will be open for online bidding beginning Thursday, September 24, ending on Thursday, October 1. In addition to SYNNEX Share the Magic celebrating its 10th anniversary, 2020 also marks the 40th anniversary of SYNNEX Corporation, which was founded in 1980 by technology visionary Bob Huang.
