TD Bank Names Hugh Allen Commercial Real Estate Regional Director for the Carolinas

GREENVILLE, SC – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Hugh Allen Commercial Real Estate Regional Director for the Carolinas. He is responsible for leading a team of lenders who focus on serving the financial needs of high quality, top-tier developers; professional managers; and owner/operators of investment real estate.

Allen, who has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, began his career in 1986 with Coldwell Banker in Houston. His banking career began in 1989 with PNC Bank, where he held a commercial real estate lending post in Washington, D.C., and subsequently moved to First Union’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) division and later served as regional president in Raleigh, N.C. He most recently served as Mid-Atlantic CRE Division Manager at Wells Fargo.

Allen serves on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations, including Global Diversity Summit of Commercial Real Estate, Charlotte/Mecklenburg County Police Foundation and the Arts Empowerment Project. He also serves on the Minority Alumni Advisory Board at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Allen is a member of several professional organizations including Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, International Council of Shopping Centers, and he is a founder of African American Real Estate Professionals (Washington, D.C.).

A Texas native, Allen earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas and his MBA at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
