TD donates $100,000 to aid flood relief efforts

TD Bank and the TD Charitable Foundation today donated $75,000 to the American Red Cross and $25,000 to a local food bank to assist with flood relief efforts in South Carolina. Three-quarters of this contribution went to charities in Columbia, the hardest-hit area in the state.

“Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the devastating rainfall and flooding from the recent storm,” said David Lominack, TD Bank’s South Carolina Market President. “As the area begins assessing the damage and cleaning up, we want South Carolina to know that TD Bank is a neighbor committed to helping rebuild our communities.”

To support relief efforts in South Carolina, TD Bank donated to the following charities:

• $50,000 to Central South Carolina American Red Cross (Columbia)
• $25,000 to Harvest Hope Food Bank (Columbia)
• $12,500 to Lowcountry South Carolina American Red Cross (Charleston)
• $12,500 to Eastern South Carolina American Red Cross (Myrtle Beach)
