Teacups and Trucks are going mobile … again!

November 20, 2017

For parents, convenience is more important than ever. From groceries delivered to your doorstep or dry cleaning being picked up from your home, in the busy world of parenting and raising children, there never seems to be enough time. This is why Teacups and Trucks LLC is announcing that they will be going back to their “roots” as a mobile birthday party service and will be closing their Mount Pleasant brick and mortar shop they opened in 2015 off Coleman Boulevard. The closing is only to enhance and focus on their mobility to reach children, their friends and family in all parts of Charleston and its surrounding areas. The Mount Pleasant shop will close in December 2017.

The brainchild of Corrie Silvers in 2009, Teacups and Trucks blossomed into one of the most popular birthday party event planning companies in the Lowcountry. Supplying all of the materials for a child’s themed birthday party to the parents’ location of choice took the pressure off the parents and family when planning and executing a great party.

In 2015, Silvers and her staff opened a Teacups and Trucks brick and mortar location at 217-G Lucas Street near Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant.

“Our Mount Pleasant studio was perfect for hosting events and summer camp, and we loved being there, but we felt the need to offer our services to families all around the Lowcountry.” says Silvers, who started the company from her home eight years ago. “Being mobile allows us to serve the growing communities in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.”

During their three years at the location, they hosted hundreds of events, “It was a hit, but it was hard for families in Summerville or Goose Creek, for example, to want to have a party so far away from their homes. We have been talking about this for a while, and now seems a great time to focus entirely on the mobile aspect of Teacups and Trucks.” she says.

Their popular summer camp will be held in 2018 through the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department at several locations in Mount Pleasant. For the upcoming camps, visit here.

Silvers is also working with her staff on “Parties in A Box”, where parents from anywhere can order literally a party in a box. Each box will contain party decorations, games, crafts and have all the details and supplies parents or families need to create a Teacups and Trucks inspired party. They will be offering Parties in A Box with the current themes of: Princess – Pirate – Spa – Superhero – Unicorn – Mermaid. More PIAB themes and details will be released in 2018.

As for mobile parties for girl, boy and co-ed themed parties, Teacups and Trucks does all the work to relieve the stress and are proud to offer a variety of parties which include the following:

• 6 ft table(s)

• Children sized chairs

• Table design and materials

• Party-ware (plates, napkins, utensils)

Themed related crafts, games, and activities
