Team Up to Clean Up with Keep Laurens County Beautiful

April 7, 2024

This month citizens of Laurens County are coming together to celebrate Earth Day by participating in various community cleanups throughout the area.

Residents are encouraged to join in the fun by volunteering to clean up their local community and raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet. The Upstate Team-up to Clean-up event invites everyone to actively engage in cleaning up their surroundings at their convenience. If you prefer to lend a hand independently rather than joining a group, kindly report the number of bags collected to Courtney Stonell by April 22nd. Let’s join hands to make a difference!

“This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and make a positive impact on the environment,” said Courtney Stonell, Keep Laurens County Beautiful Affiliate Coordinator “We encourage everyone to get involved in these cleanups and help us make Laurens County a cleaner and healthier place to live.”

Participants can stay up to date on cleanup locations, dates, and times through the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce website, https://www.laurenscounty.org/earth-month-2024/. All bag counts from the cleanups should be reported to Courtney Stonell to be counted for the Upstate Team Up to Clean Up Friendly Challenge.

Laurens County is proud to be a part of the Upstate Teamup to Cleanup event and is looking forward to the positive impact that this collective effort will have on our community. By working together, we can make a real difference in keeping Laurens County beautiful.
