The Beach Company announces four new hires in Charleston

The Beach Company announced four new hires at its downtown Charleston headquarters.

Kyle Henninger has been hired as a construction manager to help oversee construction phases for new development projects, primarily focusing on upcoming work at Kiawah River, a master-planned community and the region’s first agrihood, located on Johns Island. Originally from Hegins, Penn., Henninger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University. With approximately six years of real estate industry experience, Henninger previously served as an assistant project manager with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and a project manager with Choate Construction.

Emily Christian is The Beach Company’s newest marketing project manager. In her role, Christian will create content, collaborate with The Beach Company’s social media team and graphic designers, formulate a cross-platform content strategy, track web analytics and provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members. Originally from Tampa, Fla., Christian earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in religious studies from the College of Charleston. Christian brings valuable industry experience to her role, having previously served as a project manager at Blackbaud, web editor at Garden & Gun Magazine and web content manager at Kiawah Development Partners, among other roles.

Tyler Levy has been hired as a financial analyst to help oversee future acquisition and development opportunities, existing and new property financing, capital structures and investment budgeting. A recent graduate of Washington & Lee University, Levy earned a degree in business administration. Levy is originally from Lexington, Ky., and has previous experience as a project management intern with The Webb Companies.

Deidrea Pinckney joins The Beach Company as its newest property management accountant where she will help oversee the accounting aspects of several commercial portfolios including Beach Residential, Seaside Farms and other pre-development entities. Born in Charleston, Pinckney grew up in Washington, D.C., where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of the District of Columbia. With over 13 years of commercial real estate experience, Pinckney has worked with third-party management companies, nonprofit affordable housing, student housing and multifamily projects. She most recently worked as a senior accountant at Greystar in Charleston.
