The Blood Connection Returns to Laurens County Sheriff’s Office for Life-Saving Blood Drive

May 6, 2024

On Thursday, May 16th, The Blood Connection will be back at the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, hosting a crucial blood donation event from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This initiative not only aims to save lives but also to recognize and honor law enforcement personnel.

Each donor participating in this event will receive a $40 eGift Card along with a special Law Enforcement Memorial Week t-shirt as a gesture of appreciation.

The importance of blood donation cannot be overstated, with statistics showing that approximately 1 in 7 individuals entering a hospital will require blood. Just one donation has the potential to save up to three lives, underscoring the profound impact of each contribution.

Although appointments are encouraged, they are not mandatory. To secure a spot or learn more, individuals can visit the donation link provided: The Blood Connection Donation Drive.

This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the community by donating blood on May 16th. Let’s join together to save lives and show support for our dedicated law enforcement professionals.
