The Charleston Metro Chamber welcomes Justin Allen and Diamond Curry to their team

The Charleston Metro Chamber announced Justin Allen has joined the Chamber team as Marketing Coordinator. In this role, he will coordinate marketing projects and lead the project management for the team, manage and create content for social media channels, write content for digital publications and develop promotional plans for Chamber programs and events.

“We are thrilled to have Justin join our Marketing team,” said Erin Aylor, Senior Vice President of Marketing with the Charleston Metro Chamber. “We value his attention to detail and work ethic and look forward to seeing how he will continue to elevate the quality and service we provide to our Chamber members and staff.”

Prior to joining the Chamber team, Justin worked with Levelwing as Creative Account Manager. In this role, he managed creative projects for clients including website design and development, brand creation and strategy, creative asset creation and mass email campaigns. Within Levelwing, he also served as a Senior Paid Search Analyst, where he developed strategies and managed paid search campaigns for clients, researched digital media trends, analyzed campaign data and reported on results.

Justin is originally from East Liverpool, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kent State University. He is a big music and sports fan and has been to over 25 Major League Baseball stadiums across the country. He currently lives in West Ashley with his fiancé, Emily.

Diamond Curry has joined the Chamber team as Manager of Local Government Affairs

The Charleston Metro Chamber announced Diamond Curry has joined the Chamber team as Manager of Local Government Affairs. In this role, she will work on behalf of the Chamber and its members to partner with local municipalities and advocate for Chamber priorities.

“We are so excited that Diamond has joined our team,” said Scott Barhight, Senior Vice President of Government Relations. “Her attention to detail and ability to build valuable relationships will elevate our team to another level and help us accomplish our 2023 goals.”

Prior to joining the Chamber team, Diamond worked for the Charleston County Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization Department, where she assisted with program implementation and the development of the Housing Our Future comprehensive plan.

Diamond is originally from Portage, Indiana, but is proud that all of her family is originally from North Charleston. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs and an MPA in Public Affairs from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She is proud to share a birthday with her mom and currently lives in North Charleston with her dog, Monty.
