The City of Columbia Selects M. B. Kahn for Water Treatment Plant Improvements

COLUMBIA, SC – M. B. Kahn has been selected by the City of Columbia to perform improvements at their Canal Water Treatment Plant. The $6.67 Million contract will provide upgrades to the sedimentation basins, sludge collectors and sludge thickener pump station. Work will commence later this month and will take approximately 15 months.

The City of Columbia has once again chosen M. B. Kahn to build another significant Water Treatment Plant Project. Work will begin later this month on improvements to the Lake Murray Water Treatment Plant on the shores of Lake Murray located north of Irmo. The $22 million dollar project will ensure that the businesses and residents of Columbia will continue to benefit from the premier water quality provided by the City of Columbia.
