The City of Greenville cuts the ribbon on newly upgraded Gower Park

Gower Park has undergone a remarkable transformation in 2023 and early 2024. On April 16, the City of Greenville is officially cutting the ribbon and the reopening the park. The recent upgrade, made possible by a generous grant, has breathed new life into its facilities, making it a perfect destination for sports enthusiasts and families alike.
Led by CP Builders, the park’s renovation represents a $1.4 million investment. The enhancements include a reconstructed 65,000 square foot parking lot. Additionally, the footprint of the courts has been expanded by 9,000 square feet. Gower Park now hosts two basketball courts, three tennis courts, and ten pickleball courts.
The park’s operating hours are from 6 AM to 9 PM.
Located at 24 Evelyn Avenue, Gower Park stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and investment in public spaces.
