New event venue “The Laundry” celebrates grand opening in BullStreet District

The BullStreet District welcomed its newest business on April 9, 2025, as The Laundry, a highly anticipated event venue, officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours, and a celebratory grand opening party.
Local leaders, including Mayor Daniel Rickenmann, members of City Council, and representatives from the BullStreet District, joined business and community members for the celebration at 2046 Talley Street. The grand opening offered guests a first look inside the newly restored historic building, which now houses nearly 8,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space across two levels, complemented by a scenic outdoor greenspace known as The Grove.
The venue is poised to become a go-to location for weddings, corporate events, and special gatherings in the heart of Columbia. Attendees of the grand opening were invited to explore the unique space and speak with the team behind the project.
