The Leon Levine Foundation awards MIRCI $50,000

The Leon Levine Foundation granted MIRCI—Mental Illness Recovery Center Inc., $50,000 to assist with general support of MIRCI’s Adult and Youth Services Programs.

MIRCI, is a full service Behavioral Healthcare organization, that is CARF accredited in five program areas, helps our community’s most vulnerable population, people who are homeless and recovering from mental illness. MIRCI offers a series of programs that follow industry best practice techniques, and serves Richland and Lexington County.

“We are elated and grateful for the generous support of The Leon Levine Foundation,’ said executive director, Julie Ann Avin, “Their support will help us continue our mission and enrich the lives of others, despite the pandemic.”

MIRCI has maintained and increased services during the pandemic to ensure that individuals in recovery have increased access to therapeutic care they rely upon for assistance to independent living.
