In the past 31 years, Thomas Johnson has missed one Clinton High School football game.
He has never visited Wilder Stadium.
Johnson runs the Red Devils’ broadcasts from radio station WPCC. He makes sure the signal is clear and inserts the commercials. After the game, he conducts the scoreboard show.
Johnson has worked with Sandy Cruickshanks, Chris Burgin and now Buddy Bridges during their tenures as “Voice of the Red Devils.” He works parttime at WPCC. His regular job is at Woodbridge Clinton, the assisted-living facility formerly known as Bailey Manor.
