The McKay Firm Lawyer garners Leadership in Law honor

The McKay Firm is pleased to announce that Daniel R. Settana Jr. is a Leadership in Law Honoree by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly.
Settana earned this nomination because of his tireless effort supporting the legal community, specifically his expert legal advice in the area of transportation law and his nonprofit work and commitment to his city and state. As part of this recognition, Settana will attend an awards ceremony in Charleston in August, highlighting each individual’s achievements and announcing the South Carolina Lawyer of the Year. This is the 13th year that South Carolina Lawyers Weekly has hosted this event.
Settana also practices in insurance, civil rights defense, governmental defense, premises liability and general insurance defense litigation.
Settana is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Insurance Coverage Committee of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. He is also a member of various professional organizations, including Trucking Industry Defense Association, Transportation Lawyers Association, South Carolina Trucking Association, Defense Research Institute- Trucking Committee and was named as one of the SuperLawyers in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020.
