The McKay Firm welcomes two new attorneys

The McKay Firm is pleased to introduce Joe Catalano and Tony Ibarra The McKay Firm’s community of trusted legal counsel to serve as additional original voices to various client needs.

Catalano is an associate attorney who concentrates his practice in transportation and trucking law, government defense, and Section 1983 Defense and general liability defense. He has handled jury and nonjury trials in municipal, magistrate, state and federal trial courts.

A member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Catalano practices in South Carolina and the United States District Court for South Carolina and is also a Richland County Bar Association member. Before law school, Joe served as a criminal investigator for the Lancaster County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Department.

Ibarra joins the firm as an Associate and practices in personal injury, premises liability and insurance defense. Ibarra has an incredibly diverse background, with previous experience in construction defect litigation, employment discrimination and cybersecurity.

Originally from San Diego, Ibarra comes from Mexican heritage and speaks fluent Spanish. He served in the U.S. Navy and attended the United States Naval Academy before completing his undergraduate studies in Long Beach, CA. He is a graduate of the Charleston School of Law.
