The Mill at Fountain Inn Temporarily Closes Backyard Area for New Expansions

June 8, 2026

Management at The Mill at Fountain Inn has announced a temporary, short-term closure of its outdoor “backyard” space to clear the way for fresh property additions.

While construction crews work on the outdoor upgrades, facility officials emphasized that the main indoor attractions remain fully operational. Visitors looking to access the building’s popular Food Hall and Arcade can continue to do so during standard business hours throughout the construction phase.

Temporary Access and Entry Instructions

Because the backyard area is blocked off for safety while crews install the new features, the venue has adjusted its guest traffic flow.

Patrons visiting the complex must bypass the rear entrances and enter the property exclusively through the front of the building. The main front entrance is located at the intersection of Wall Street and Ellison Street.

Upcoming Features Teased

Property management apologized for the temporary footprint restriction but teased that the interruption will be brief. The full backyard area is expected to stay closed for one day only as crews lay the initial groundwork for the expansion.

The upcoming additions are part of a broader effort to enhance the venue’s family-friendly footprint ahead of the peak summer season. A complete public reveal of the new outdoor backyard features is expected to take place within the next few weeks.
