The newest Myrtle Beach camping resort announces summer event schedule

Summers in Myrtle Beach just got a little more exciting with Carolina Pines RV Resort’s 2019 Event schedule. From games and competitions to movies and dances, Carolina Pines will host a myriad of events duringuniquely themed weekends filled with family fun.
“At Carolina Pines, we offer our guests all sorts of different amenities to provide the exact vacation they are looking to experience,” said Troy Bittner, general manager of Carolina Pines. “Each weekend we offer special events that everyone at the resort can enjoy.”
Officially opening July 1, 2019, Carolina Pines offers rates starting as low as $60 for RV sites and $129 for its Carolina Cottagevacation rentals.
No matter how you stay, Carolina Pines offers several different services throughout the year, providing a one-of-a-kind getaway experience. At the resort, guests will be able to experience a unique take on Southern hospitality, with the ability to find your inner daredevil at the waterpark, play a round of mini-golf, cool off with a cold beer, and then revel in some down-home dining, all without leaving the resort.

Happy Birthday America
July 4-7
Come celebrate the Nation’s Independence with a decorating contest for the golf cart/bicycle parade, and an endless amount of patriotic games to enjoy. Kick back and relish the Backyard BBQ by the pool and additional activities like a tie-dyeT-shirt station, pie-eating contest, and a Flashlight Candy Hunt. Enjoy the sounds of freedom with live music at the courtyardor spend the night at the pool enjoying a movie on a 30-foot screen.
Wet & Wild
July 12-14
Be sure to pack your bathing suit for this weekend, as it will be full of plenty of water activities. Join in for pool games, water balloon activities, and the inaugural Money Swim.
Carolina Pines Inaugural Summer Games
July 19-21
Be a part of the inaugural Carolina Pines Summer Games and compete in competitions like Name That Tune, basketball freethrow contest, pickleball, and a frozen T-shirt challenge. Finish off the games with our first-ever Great Carolina Pines Relay Race involving five different races in one.
Christmas in July
July 26-28
Santa is coming to…Carolina Pines! Come by the clubhouse for a Christmas party. Guests will decorate cookies, write letters to Santa, make Christmas crafts, and end the night with a movie by the pool. Also, pack those lights and decorations asguests of RV sites and Carolina Cottages are encouraged to participate in a site-decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded!
Pirates
August 2-4
Ahoy Mateys! It’s a pirate’s life for all at Carolina Pines. Dress like a pirate in the costume contest and search for gold in thetreasure hunt. Games will be plenty with options like Hook the Treasure Relay, Cannonball Blast, and sink or sail during theCardboard and Duct Tape Boat Race. End the evening with a Pirate Fire Show.
Wildlife Encounters
August 9-11
Come explore as wildlife takes over Carolina Pines! See a variety of turtles, snakes, and other curious creatures. Take a shuttle ride to view the alligators at Alligator Adventure or ocean life at Ripley’s Aquarium. End the day with popcorn from our restaurant and a movie at the drive-in.
Beach Party Luau
August 16-18
Join the inaugural Pig Roast and Luau at Carolina Pines! Come dressed in your best Hawaiian themed attire and enjoy the day by the pool. There will be music and Luau contests like hula-hoop and limbo. Also, enjoy the hot performance by Polynesian Fire Dancers and learn some moves from professional hula dancers.
Back-2-School
August 23-25
Get to Carolina Pines for one more weekend of summer fun before school is back in session. All kids can play Backpack Bingo with the chance to win backpacks filled with new school supplies. Enjoy countless crazy games and activities happening all weekend.
Labor Day-All Star-Day
August 30-September 2
Labor Day brings an All-Star weekend at Carolina Pines! Bring on the competition in basketball, street hockey, dodgeball, andpickleball tournaments. Not your style? Don’t worry; Carolina Pines will offer arts and crafts, life-sized board games, and more. End each night with something special, including a family dance, live band, karaoke, and dive-in movie at the pool. Bring your flashlights for the Flashlight Candy Hunt where THOUSANDS of pieces of candy will be scattered over the grounds of our secret location.
