The NORD Family Foundation contributes $60,000 to support The Salvation Army Meals Service program

The NORD Family Foundation awarded $60,000 to The Salvation Army of the Midlands to support the Meals Service to the Homeless and Hungry program.

The NORD Family Foundation has been supporting the feeding program for over 11 years. With this grant, we will be able to continue to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner every day at Transitions Homeless Center. Last year, we served 241,251 meals to the homeless and hungry in Columbia.

In more than 26 years of activity, The NORD Family Foundation has contributed over $90 million for charitable and philanthropic purposes in the Midlands and several other communities of interest to the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Walter and Virginia Nord.
