The Old Cigar Warehouse adds two employees to team

The Old Cigar Warehouse has hired Lauren Lyons as its new Venue Captain and Anna-Kate Sherrill as its newest Wedding Director.

Lyons began her career at The Old Cigar Warehouse as a Marketing and Events intern and was recently hired as the Venue Captain. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Bob Jones University, where she also worked as a Project Management Assistant during her time as a student.

Sherrill comes to The Old Cigar Warehouse from The Burlap Elephant in Charleston, South Carolina,where she previously worked as a Wedding Planner. Sherrill earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the College of Charleston and has nearly four years of event-industry experience.

“Lauren and Anna-Kate are both already invaluable members of our team,” said Tammy Johnson, owner of The Old Cigar Warehouse. “We feel certain that their efforts will help us continue to exceed guests’ expectations at our events.”
