The Old Cigar Warehouse to host silent disco for Moon Landing Anniversary

July 12, 2019

The Old Cigar Warehouse is breaking entertainment barriers once again, this time with a silent disco in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing.

A growing trend in major metro areas, a silent disco is when attendees listen to a close circuit dance party via headphones.

The Apollo 11 Silent Disco will occur on Saturday, July 27 at The Old Cigar Warehouse from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m., and features a cash bar, Kono Pizza food truck, LED hula-hoop dancers, and more. Upon “landing,” attendees will be given a pair of headphones to tune into two different channels as local DJs, DJ Scientist and DJ Black Caesar, go head to head to compete for the crowd’s attention.

The event is being produced by High Spirits Events and sponsored by Old Cigar Warehouse, Liquid Catering, Bravo1 Protection, Lunazul Tequila, and Absolut Juice.

Tickets are on sale for $25 at www.ahighspiritsevent.com and will be $35 at the door. Must be 21+ for admission.

“This silent disco trend is starting to make a lot of noise,” said Tammy Johnson, owner of High Spirits Hospitality, which is the parent company of The Old Cigar Warehouse. “The ‘quiet clubbing’ craze is so liberating and immersive, euphoric and fun; it’s time the Greenville scene got in on this movement.”
