The Patch Returns for Its Third Year: A Fall Extravaganza in Mountville
September 20, 2023If you love Fall you know The Patch is the place to be! They are gearing up for the third year of business and set to open its gates on September 17th, delighting visitors until around October 21st. Nestled in the heart of Mountville, The Patch has become a cherished fall tradition, drawing in locals and visitors alike.
The Patch invites everyone to come enjoy the vibrant autumn atmosphere every Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sundays from 2 pm to 6 pm. This extended timeframe provides ample opportunity for people to explore and enjoy all the fall festivities.
One of the standout features of The Patch is its collaboration with talented local vendors. This year’s lineup includes Rolling Hill Ranch, Mudlick Pottery, 6th Interval Designs, and The Beaded Owl, all ready to showcase their unique crafts and wares. Additionally, The Patch proudly offers locally sourced honey from Waldron Family Hives, a true treat for the taste buds.
A heartwarming aspect of The Patch’s seasonal opening is its involvement with charitable initiatives. On September 23rd, Jackson Pitts will set up a lemonade stand, raising funds for Operation Christmas Child. Moreover, on September 24th and October 1st, The Patch will host Mountville Baptist Church Youth Group, providing them with a platform to sell wooden pumpkins and raise money for their church camp.
Mary-Grace Iusti, the driving force behind The Patch, expressed her excitement for this year’s event, stating, “We are so excited to be back for a third year. We have worked so hard each year to be better than the year before. The continued support of the surrounding communities has kept us going. I am excited to give other local vendors a place to sell their craft. We have so many customers from surrounding counties. I love showing them what all Laurens County has to offer, especially our small community of Mountville.”
The Patch promises to meet all your Fall needs with an impressive array of pre-picked and “U-PICK” pumpkins, square straw bales, corn stalks, and mums. For the latest updates and sneak peeks of what’s in store, make sure to follow The Patch on Facebook and Instagram @thepatchmountville.
