The Riviera announces upcoming concerts coming to downtown theater

The Riviera, Charleston’s 1930s Art Deco theater, is excited to announce its upcoming concerts this August with Chris Isaak on Saturday, August 13th at 8:30 pm, and Christopher Cross on Saturday, August 20th at 8:30 pm. Concerts will be open to all ages, and tickets will be available for purchase for each show on Ticketmaster.
Over the course of his three-decade-plus career, Platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak has performed to sold-out crowds across the globe with his longtime band Silvertone. His music and film credits include nine critically acclaimed studio albums, twelve chart-topping singles, and several motion pictures.
Christopher Cross made history with his 1980 self-titled debut album, winning five Grammy Awards. Cross has sold over 10 million albums in a career spanning over five decades. His music has garnered five Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and five Top 10 singles. This year, Christopher Cross is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his breakthrough debut album with a major tour featuring “Sailing,” “Ride Like the Wind,” “Say You’ll Be Mine,” and more. “This tour celebrates the first chapter in what has been my life’s journey. I look forward to seeing everyone on the road,” says Cross.
These concerts follow on the heels of The Riviera’s previously sold-out shows, including an Evening with Jewel, The Wallflowers, and Colbie Caillat.
