The Sinus Center of South Carolina Announces Grand Opening

May 27, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Board certified otolaryngologists, Dr. Benjamin D. Paysinger, Jr., Dr. Tab E. Thompson, and Dr. Anna Lee Bouknight announced today the opening of The Sinus Center of South Carolina.  The Sinus Center of South Carolina was developed to give patients suffering from sinus and allergy problems access to the best possible sinus care in the Midlands.  The Center offers evaluation and treatment of naso-sinus disorders, diagnostic nasal endoscopy, in-office balloon sinus dilation, and functional endoscopic sinus procedures.

Chronic sinusitis affects more than 37 million people in the United States and results in more than 500,000 surgeries each year.  The Sinus Center of South Carolina is committed to offering patients the highest level of quality care and the latest  options, including an impressive treatment known as balloon sinus dilation.

Balloon sinus dilation is one of the most exciting innovations for the management of sinus disease in the last decade.  It is a minimally invasive, in-office procedure that provides instant and lasting relief by reopening blocked sinuses, whether caused by allergy, anatomical variations, or recurring sinusitis.
