The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina recently selected two Benedict College students for their 2016 President’s Fellow Program

Fellows are exposed to all aspects of philanthropy including grantmaking, financial management, community building, public policy and issue driven initiatives.

“The President’s Fellows Program gives the Foundation an opportunity to work with two outstanding young men from Benedict College. Both of them have a passion for helping others and, I believe, will benefit personally and professionally, from their experiences here at the Sisters of Charity Foundation.” Foundation President, Tom Keith

 

Tim PrichettMr. Timothy Pritchett is a senior majoring in Mass Communication from Hampton, Georgia. He is currently maintaining a 3.61 GPA and is expected to graduate in the spring of May 2016. In addition, he is actively involved on the campus as a student assistant to the men’s basketball coach as well as volunteering in the Office of Freshmen Institute. Mr. Pritchett volunteers at First Baptist Church with the Children Ministry and also volunteers at First Baptist Church in feeding the homeless.

 

 

 

 

image005Mr. Tyler McAllister is a sophomore majoring in Business Management from Columbia, South Carolina. He is currently maintaining a 3.68 GPA and is expected to graduate in the spring of May 2018. In addition, he is a member of Benedict College football team and plays the tight end position. Mr. McAllister also volunteers atBrookland Baptist Children’s Church Worship as an assistant.
