The Spartanburg County Foundation welcomes new communications officer

SPARTANBURG, SC – After an extensive search for a talented and energetic communications professional, The Spartanburg County Foundation is pleased to announce that Caroline Goodman will be joining the Foundation Team as Communications Officer.

Caroline will lead marketing, messaging, and digital strategies to increase the Foundation’s visibility, outreach efforts, and messaging throughout the greater Spartanburg community. Additionally, she will carry out the communications activities of the Foundation, which include publications, media relations, special events, and donor engagement.

Caroline brings expanded knowledge of branding and marketing strategies, and a creative approach to communications. Caroline is a Spartanburg native and has served as the Program Liaison for Women Giving for Spartanburg since 2013. In this role, she performed both administrative and communication tasks, acting as the first point of contact for the growing and expanded initiative.

Caroline received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Converse College and a Master of Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She resides in Boiling Springs with her husband, Travis, and daughter, Amelia.

Caroline will begin her tenure at The Spartanburg County Foundation October 26, 2015.
